As I read the account of Job in the Old Testament, I am reminded of many verses where Job and God dialog and Job testifies to his Divine Creator.
As the stage of reproofs and dialog come to a close, we see God speak to Job out of a whirlwind in Job 38:4. Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? (v.5) Who set its measurements? or who stretched the line on it? (v.6)On what were its bases sunk? or who laid its cornerstone when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
I suggest you take time to read Job 38:7 – 41:34. God describes a lengthy list of His knowledge and Power. It’s an amazing read!
Yes, God is Creator! He is in charge. Job testifies of God with these words: I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; but now my eye sees You; therefore, I retract, and repent in dust and ashes. (Job 42:5-6)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge. Proverbs 1:7
Holy reverence for God is essential to true faith!
