Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
This is the 14th verse of Psalm 19. King David ended this Psalm with these blessed words. David states clearly that his desire was for his life to not just speak God's truth but to actually live his life to honor his Creator God! This closing prayer had a purpose as we will discover next week (v.9-13). David had a heart for obedience and he had a healthy fear of God and His justice. A balance we all could take a lesson from.
